I was in the same boat half a year ago. He spent two weeks having lunch exclusively with me at work, took me around town for festivals here and there (I like vendor streets at night, Japanese festival style). Kissed me twice initiatively (mouth, so no misunderstanding).

And on my birthday - a day everyone in the office knew about and made plans for - he [i]forgot and took some other chick on a date.[/i] And then they dated within a few days. Hardcore - she'd come to the office and ask him if he's "going to her place tonight". He took his annual days off to take her camping, fgs. I congratulated them.

And then he dumped her a week later. And had a girlfriend the next day, a colleague PR from another city. And dumped her within a week too. And got a girlfriend the next day.
