[center][h1][color=fff200]Shiver[/color] and [color=39b54a]Inertia[/color][/h1][/center]

Shiver hears Tia choking and coughing as Omega smirks and jumps off the building and his passengers scream. She chuckles to herself. [color=fff200]"He better not give any of them a heart attack doing that."[/color]

Shiver looked up as the building started to collapse and she saw a young boy about 12 or 13 yrs old alive and in the rubble. [color=fff200]"NO!"[/color] Shiver yelled. She ported to the boy and caught the beams with her back as they fell. She winced, the weight was more than she usually had to handle. Her voice strained she said [color=fff200]"Grab my waist and hold on."[/color] There was no hesitation at all from the scared 12 year old. Once he got his arms on her she ported outside with him. Paramedics ran over to them and took the kid and asked the filthy Shiver if she was ok. [color=fff200]"Yeah"[/color] she said breathing heavily and she waived at the kid and ported back to the HQ. 

Tia was opening windows but there weren't a lot of them on the bottom floor. She hit her com [color=39b54a]"Glitch! Where are you and what the fuck happened?"[/color] She stopped when she heard Shiver yell. [color=39b54a]"Shiver? You ok?"[/color] She heard nothing for a minute and just as she was about to yell to her Shiver tapped her on the shoulder. [color=fff200]"What?"[/color] Tia jumped and blasted a hole in the wall by accident. [color=39b54a]"What the fuck? You scared the shit outta me!"[/color] Shiver smiled.[color=fff200]"Oopsie?[/color] [color=fff200]What happened to the security system?"[/color] Tia coughing and shaking her head didn't notice right away how Shiver was covered in debris. Later it would tell her a lot in hindsight.

[color=39b54a]"I don't know but we gotta find out where Glitch, Miles and the doc are."[/color] [color=fff200]"I'll check the gym." [/color]Shiver said porting out. Tia realized something and ran towards the prison downstairs. [color=39b54a]"Son of a bitch!"[/color] She said when she saw the empty cells. The fire department had arrived and they were pushing everyone outside and Shiver walked back to Tia. [color=fff200]"The sixth floor is destroyed." [/color]Tia started swearing up and down a red streak of words so heinous I can't even type them.  Shiver grinned and chuckled at her and stopped suddenly rubbing her rib cage. [color=fff200]"No one up there was hurt."[/color] Tia was still so mad that she froze everything but unfroze everything after a moment. [color=39b54a]"She is going to come back here."[/color] Tia walked off and when she said that even Shiver felt the tension.

As much as Shiver and Tia loved her mother Shiver knew that it couldn't be a good thing for Wicked to be here so soon after a breakdown. Shiver felt bad. She knew Wicked put everything on Tia and that she would be held a 1000% responsible for the millions of dollars that was stolen or demolished. 

The fireman gave the all clear to go inside and Shiver walked slowly to her room to change and then to the pool. By the time she got to the pool tears were filling her eyes. She knew why it wasn't working. It had happened one other time and she was told it was a genetic anomaly she inherited from her mother. Of all the things she could inherit from her mother the angel this was probably one of the worst ones. Every once in a while her powers would disappear when she was overexerted and she had not told Tia about this little problem of hers. Right now Shiver couldn't use her ice or her teleportation. She was feeling every bit of the pain from the building collapsing on her back. What she didn't see was the horrible bruising that was already becoming visible all over her back, shoulders and arms. She walked into the pool and floated on her back hoping the cold would help her.

[color=00aeef]"Michael?[/color] [color=fff200] Can you come to the pool? Please."[/color] Shiver said quietly.
