Murphy & Tasha

Location: Room 12 Interacting With: [@Charnobylisk] Time/Date: Late Afternoon/August 1st, 2016
Tasha grumbled to herself as Murphy climbed the stairs, drumming her fingers hard on his back to annoy him. Might not be as much as he was annoying her right then but at least it was something. Murphy didn't care, in fact it didn't bother him at all. Had it been his sister he was carrying like a sack of potatoes she would have fought the entire way to the room and probably broken a few ribs in the process. In fact he knew she would have, she had before. The fact Tasha was just trying to be annoying made him smirk. Tasha on the other hand was not finding the situation funny at all. She hated to be carried anywhere. Granted that was except by Dominic it seemed. She hadn't minded him carrying her on his back out of the opening in the mine. She chalked that up to just being scared senseless. Thing was though when he picked her up and carried her out of the mine proper she hadn't minded; in fact she had found herself enjoying the fact that she was in his arms. What was with that? she wondered to herself. Once they were in the room Murphy set her down a bit less gently than he could have and chuckled when she smacked him on the leg. "Damn it, be careful!" she snapped as she rubbed her rear end. "Aww poor thing got a booboo?" he teased and had to dodge a book that was fling squarely at his head in retort. When Cera came in he smiled over to her and plopped down in a chair. "Yeah, what happened at the mine?" he asked curious to how things went. Taking the ice Tasha placed it on her knee and hissed in pain lightly. "Thanks," she said in a pained voice but it was clear she was grateful for the gesture and help. She was thankful for Murphy's help as well but after the protesting she had done and the teasing he had poked at her she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. "Oh that. Well Dom and I had to go down this hole in the mine," she began before she got to the nitty gritty of what had gone down. Thing was the way she spoke about it she made it seem like she had done nothing more than patch the kid up and that it was Dom who was the real hero in the situation. "He was amazing. I don't know how he stays so calm in a situation like that. He must have ice running through his veins. If it hadn't been for him I wouldn't have been able to do a damn thing, probably still be down there," she said quietly. "Yeah, sounds like it," Murphy said with a cheeky grin on his lips. "Well maybe you should do something to thank him lass," he said standing back up. "I think you might actually be right. Holy shit, is that possible?" she asked with a cool smirk. Murphy just shrugged. "Well you get some rest. I'll see about them bringing you dinner tonight up here," he said. Tasha nodding as she sat there. "Looks like you're not going out tonight. So Cera, want to hitch a ride with me on me new bike to the bar tonight? Marcus seems to have a good idea for some fun," he asked her as he rubbed the back of his neck. "And maybe you could suggest to Dom to bring Tasha her dinner?" he whispered against Ceras ear as he leaned in close and brushed her hair back. "What was that Murphy?" "Oh nothing, you coming Cera?" he asked as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and quickly ushered her out of the room, closing the door behind them before he started chuckling.
