Obviously, Jacob wasn't expecting to be intervened, and especially not by such a small, weak-looking young woman. He hesitated for a moment long enough, allowing Chris to once again throw the man off of himself and jump to his feet. In him, there was a slight hesitation as well. A few swift strides put him at the woman's side, looking at Jacob as the man clenched his fist in anger, sword by his side. He snorted, "What, you gonna have a little girl protect you?" Chris glanced sideways at the woman. There was no way he was going to look like a weakling. He rolled his eyes in disregard to his brother. "No, just wondering if you're even evil enough to hit a lady." "Not like I'm not a demon," he grinned, revealing several razor-sharp teeth. His eyes began to turn black, as if being filled with dark liquid. "That's low even for you," Chris growled, holding both of his hands palms-upward in front of him and trembling a bit until two battle swords appeared. He grabbed them quickly and brandished them toward Jacob. "Three swords against one," he said in reference to the sword the girl was holding.
