Personality:  This [s]half a[/s] man suffers from a size complex. He often gets angry when commented on his small size. This is only compounded when he gets compared to his often larger than himself spirit. He generally can get along with other things his size. He tends to envy others who are larger than him, in a passive aggressive way. When he makes a friend though, he is loyal to them, often helping them out of a pinch.

 He prefers to speak softly and carry a humongous Spirit in a conversation. Tending to prefer helping others and leans heavily on his spirit for support in combat. Seeks to prove to the world that he is gonna be the best, never intending to harm others to prove a point. Has a very loud and bragging personality as long as he has the advantage. However, when proven otherwise, he tends to back down and apologize.

 When it comes to the relationship he has with his Spirit, it's a mixed bag. He often feels he could have prepared better for the situation or did something better. When his Spirit is small, he tends to be quiet, preferring to avoid others when possible. As his Spirit grows, so does his attitude for those around him, often making him outgoing talking to strangers without a problem. This double sided attitude can occasionally be a repellent to those around him (on top of the giant dinosaur sticking out of the room).

History: Randar was always the shortest kid growing up. He was unremarkable in a lot of things he did, often coming up short on almost everything he tried. He ended up being a loner, preferring to avoid others. Anything to avoid the stares and insults flung at him. That changed when he got his Spirit. Of everyone around when he finally managed his first successful summon, he was the most disappointed. The thing was a mere 2 feet tall, shorter than him. Convinced it was a failure, he ran off with his spirit to avoid the insults once again. They ended up outside where he learned something from sitting out there. His Spirit was getting larger by the minute. He was in amazement at first, before getting concerned at the size it got up to. The thing ended up larger than the building.

  Since then they have been inseparable, doing everything together. He ended up earning his right to participate from his school's tournament by pure surprise factor, and hopes to do well again at this Tournament. Since the tournament, he wears the insult he was most often teased with as his title, "The Hobbit". He plans on using his unassuming size to catch others off guard and teach them a lesson. It just takes a bit of time and patience.

  Randar has gotten into a few fights since he left the school on this trip, carrying a reputation with him. Now, he works to help others in any way he can. With his healing, hes been confident in his ability to jump into dangerous situations to save others. Even if he still needs to be saved by Cothyl from time to time. A [s]short[/s] knight in shining armor ready to handle the situations around him [s]hopefully[/s]. 

Instrument and Weapons: Randar carries around a small piccolo with him wherever he goes. Handgun: An average gun capable of handling things from a comfortable distance.

Magic: Plays the piccolo to soothe the mind, soul, and body to increase healing rate, mental stability, hope, and will to live.

Other: Overall, Randar a bit emotionally unstable, much like his life is around him. Randar and Cothyl change a lot in personality based on whats going on around them.

Personality: Cothyl is the quiet type preferring to listen to whats going on around him. His personality is inverse to his size. He tends to be loud when hes small, trying to keep would be bullies away. Often with threats of coming back for them later. As he gains in size he is less concerned with the ants below him, instead taking great care to not break things beneath his feet as he walks around. Is well used to the oohs and awes of the crowd of a town when he hits his max size. Being a large Spirit isn't always the greatest thing in his eyes as he has concerns most wouldn't think about. Tends to worry about harming an innocent or damaging property if he's not careful. 

He tends to be cheery on a sunny day and a bit of a downer at night, knowing that he isn't as helpful during the night. Prefers to stay summoned as he likes being out in the world. Has a low tolerance for those who try to pick on Randar. Tends to keep Randar's ego in check before he does something truly careless. While he may not want to start the fight, he will definitely try to end it quickly. On a bright day, he can't help but try to cheer up everyone around him, regardless of size.

Powers: Growing Light: Cothyl absorbs the light around him in order to increase his size, weight, and strength. He also has the ability to expel this light energy by decreasing his size, weight, and strength in order to breath out energy beams, glow in the dark, or release blinding flashes of light. Cothyl's maximum size is 64' tall, and weighing in at 10.2 tons, however it take time for Cothyl to grow, and he can only double his size each minute during full noon, and grows at slower and slower rates as the light level decreases. When dispelled, Cothyl loses 75% of his added energy from base size immediately, and gradually loses more until he is summoned again at a rate of 5% per hour. Cothyl cannot shrink himself below 2' and 20 lbs.
