"Alright, be careful," Alex yelled back as he heard the muffled voices above him, indicating that someone was there to rescue him. It earned a sigh of relief, even if that was short lived due to how rapidly the metal above him froze. He quickly shifted back, as far from the ice as he could so he didn't get frozen too. What he wasn't expecting was for the metal to crack, threatening to plunge onto him, only for himself to be surrounded in the safe protection of a metallic gauntlet. Eyes wide, he looked around to see an iron golem of sorts holding him, before placing him next to the twins. He stumbled momentarily before recovering, bowing with a flourish. "Thank you for the assist ladies," he said with a grin. "I'm not sure how I would have gotten out of there otherwise." He took a moment to really look himself over then, testing for broken bones or sprains, and noting the many scratches and cuts that he had from the crash landing. "I'm fine," he reassured them. "Just a bit roughed up." This was not the sort of thing he had imagined happening when he set off on this expedition. "Alright then. Be careful," he said to the duo as the twins headed off to look for more survivors of the crash, and Alex proceeded to look around as he tried to come up with what to do next. Well, he should probably help out, if only to build goodwill for later. Besides, he wasn't the sort of person to just sit around on his hands and coalesce. He needed to be doing something. Before they could get far though someone began calling them again, or for the first time rather it seemed. He couldn't quite remember. Well, he might as well check it out, even if he wasn't sure why they would be by the river bank. "I'll go see how they're doing," he called to the twins with a gesture towards the river before walking off, ready to help out however was needed in dealing with this crash.
