That, in itself, isn't a bad thing." Although Hayley definitely loathed the elder Howland, she felt that their 'arguments' and personal life were best kept separate. She wasn't so cruel as to break what happy solace he had with Sarah and the younger Howland had proven to be a gracious host so far.
