I'm still trying to get a nation concept crystallized, but I do have in mind some kind of Dunesque internecine house conflicts. 

Quick question [@Hael], how possible/common is the notion of "mind uploading", cyborgs, etc. etc.? Another notion I had was a race whose "true form" is not really known due to the widespread of bodyswapping/body modification, kind of like the Changelings from Deep Space Nine.
