You can be a shapeshifter if you want.  That can even be your power if you want, though it would need to be limited.  Becoming an animal would be fine, but becoming an element/etc. would be OP.

You can make any deities you want, as long as the power they give you isn't too OP.

Lightning could be for shamans or wizards (or clerics/crusaders), depending on how you do it.  The old wizard will have a lightning spell, but a shaman could also have one from his study of nature.
