[h1][i][center]The Premise[/center][/i][/h1]

Deep in the heart of the Old Country lies a kingdom long-thought defunct: the Empire of Bones. Hundreds of years ago, the Empire of Bones waged war against the entire continent, only to be defeated by an army of brave soldiers and legendary heroes. In a final, decisive battle, the Lich King was slain and his kingdom sank underneath the earth, never to be seen again.

Recently, however, it seems that strange and evil changes have been going through the Old Country. The sinkhole that used to be the Lich King's kingdom has miraculously turned into an immense mountain that none have ever returned from. The kingdoms surrounding the Old Country, worried that these rumors might be true, have sent [i]you[/i] to investigate!

This is a dungeon crawling adventure centered entirely around exploring a vast system of dungeons under a mountain range. Each dungeon is controlled by a powerful lich, and destroying them is the key to defeating their king. You are part of a party of adventurers dedicated to saving the world from the Lich King.



[h1][i][center]The Selling Point[/center][/i][/h1]
This will be an adventure focusing on [i]you!!![/i] Each dungeon (and, as a result, each lich) will actually be controlled by one of the players, giving us all a chance to flex our creative muscles. You'll be able to make your [i]own[/i] story, and flesh out the setting in your [i]own[/i] way, or, if you don't want that, you can happily play along with the other players who [i]do[/i]!
You can make practically any character you want, with any background you want! This setting is designed from the ground up to be as modular as possible!
