[@Remipa Awesome] Just give her mom respect and prove to her you have only the best intentions towards her daughter and eventually she'll let up. As a mom myself (My little cupcake is gonna be two in July! <3 ) I completely understand the need to protect your kid, even if her's is a teenager and almost a grown lady now. She'll cut the apron strings eventually, but I imagine it's hard to do.

But you seem like a genuinely nice guy and once she realizes it I'm sure she'll be much more accepting of it. Just give her time, us old folks have a hard time with change. XD
