[@Sigurd] I'd say the general tone of the setting would be somewhere between Warhammer Fantasy and Munchkin. The villains should, as undead warlords, be eccentric but threatening. The rest of the setting should probably be at the same general level as Lord of the Rings. Something somewhat dark, but not [i]too[/i] dark, you know?


[@Jerkchicken] The main villain of your crawl should [i]at least[/i] have gained their power and authority from a lich, either the king himself or one of his minions. Like, say, a bandit king who's managed to find an artifact of unbelievable power in the Lich King's tomb, or a powerful vampire lord who usurped his master's throne for his own means.
