The Battle drills are based on the communication style the Soviets used. Information and commands flow down the chain of command only. Division Commanders send orders to Regimental Commanders; Regimental Commanders send orders to Battalion Commanders; Battalion commanders send orders to Company commanders and Company Commanders send orders to Platoon Leaders. The lower command level cannot even talk up the chain of command. The lower echelon either does it or dies. There is no talking back. The higher commander does not want to hear it.

The Drills are simple. The battalion commander says, "Battalion, Action Left!" Then every vehicle in the battalion executives a left face (turn) and the entire battalion attacks in that direction. Soviets Base their tactics on Beating the crap out of entire 1Km x 1Km grid squares with intensive Artillery fire and then attacking with Battalions and Regiments.
