[color=deepskyblue]“R-Right!”[/color] Charon cried, shaking himself from his own fear induced trance. He had always dealt with [i]death[/i] and the people who he assumed had passed on. But nothing like this. Never had he seen something so gruesome. He had only lead dusky white figures that wandered up to his boat in search of somewhere to go. Somewhere to rest. There had always been a gate where the light shone in, warm and inviting like a dream. Before now, it had looked like a peaceful place to go to rest. A light that the spirits had always seemed to gravitate towards.

Is this where he and Bear had been sending them? To this awful, terrifying place? 

He tried to shake the thought from his mind. There wasn’t time to think about that right now! Clutching the handles of his oar, the little wisp floated higher to assess the situation. Everyone was still being attacked by those things and worse, they were being caged in! Charon glanced to each exit and, even the one that the person had been dragged down looked like it was going to be closed off soon! No-! If that happened, then how would they get to him? How would they get out of this place?

Flying as quick as he possibly could, Charon shot to the remaining exit and focused as hard as he could. Sparks flew from his head and, with enough effort he managed to fly around and keep a clear path for the others to run through. Buzzing about he made it a priority to burn the vines back best he could. If he couldn’t use powers like everyone else, then this was the best he could do! 

[color=deepskyblue]“I- I think I can hold it off for a little while! Is everyone okay!?”[/color]
