As Rio walked deeper into the hideout, Hikari walked passed her. [b]"... Thanks"[/b] He smiled at Rio and for once kept his eyes on her face. She didn't know what to think of this... Other than it must of just been his 'nice guy' act. Once Hikari left, Rio crossed her arms and glared in a random direction. [i]'Don't try to pretend Hikari... Anyway...'[/i] She took a deep breath and composed herself before walking towards the area Hikari mentioned Kenta was. Walking forward, she stopped when he did, noticing the stack of paper in his hands. [i]'.... I really need to start focusing on my position...'[/i] She mentally scowled before looking up at Kenta. He didn't say a word, she didn't really expect him to anyway. [b]"Kenta, I'd like to apologise for snapping at you earlier. It was stupid of me to expect anything from you. I just let my emotions rule my actions which was wrong of me. I hope you'll accept my apology and we can still be.. friends... If not, then I'll get out of your way"[/b] Rio tried her best to stay calm and stern, but on the inside, she was the most nervous that she had ever been. It wasn't noticeable on the outside, however, the emotion did show itself in her eyes every now and then, despite her trying to conceal it.
