[@Animus] It's mostly for plot reasons, yeah. Though I will say that the ranking of a Noble Arm actually plays very little in your ranking, as you say. All ranks from 100 upwards are free game, provided your character is actually worthy of the rank. Also, your Noble Arm has to be a weapon or instrument of war from before WWII :)
