Ariel - Phoenix Wing Hotel
[@Caits] Ariel held onto Penny while she cried, instinctively wrapping her new wings around her guildmate. She didn't try saying anything, there was nothing to say. Penny just had to kill her father to end a cycle. The strength and love needed to do that was something she could hardly grasp. As the minutes passed Penny's cries and tears stopped. It wasn't that she was through mourning she just couldn't anymore. Even so Ariel didn't let go. It was getting later in the day as a hours passed. By now Penny had exhausted herself and fallen asleep. Once certain that the woman was truly asleep, Ariel picked up her up and brought her over to the bed and lay her down. With that done she walked over to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. At the moment the woman in the reflection was having a kind of identity crisis. Obviously she looked more like Ariel than anything, but memories that weren't her own were swimming around in her head. They were remnants of Solias'. Not that she was thinking that she was the old phoenix. But maybe this transformation meant she was someone new. Despite all the new magic energy Ariel was beginning to feel the fatigue of reincarnation. Checking the couch it was a foldout bed. That was good because her wings were probably going to get in the way at times. Plopping down she put aside the mental conflict to rest.
