Well, if you ever turn your game into a thread, you already have a player. Besides yourself, of course. I'm sure some of the others here would jump in as well. And I'll add your lyric now! I do the same when it comes to lyrics, but I write them down in the "notes" section of my iPOD. I can never be found without my iPOD and at the risk of making myself sound edgy I have to say that music is indeed my life.
Thanks, I appreciate that! I understand that feeling. I like writing it down on paper (and I don't have an iPod, although I have a note section on my mobile phone). For me, it's different seeing the lyrics in my own handwriting. Also, I like to add some flourishes sometimes and writing it down and leaving it on my desk or notebooks helps noticing connections to other songs or anything else. It also inspire me to write! Well, since I am replying I will be leaving another lyric here. I usually don't like to expose personal things, but this song was on my mind today all day since a friend of my mom's killed herself last night. Her daughter was an acquaintance of mine and I can't stop thinking how terrible Mother's Day is going to be for her. Not only this year, but for the rest of her life. Here are the whole lyrics, but you can add just the bolded part. It's "Even My Dad Does Sometimes - Ed Sheeran". "It's alright to cry Even my dad does sometimes So don't wipe your eyes Tears remind you you're alive It's alright to die 'Cause death's the only thing you haven't tried Just for tonight, hold on So live life like you're giving up 'Cause you act like you are Go ahead and just live it up Go on and tear me apart It's alright to shake Even my hand does sometimes So inside we rage Against the dying of the light It's alright to say that death's the only thing you haven't tried But just for today, hold on So live life like you're giving up 'Cause you act like you are Go ahead and just live it up Go on and tear me apart, hold on" Also, worth pointing out that Ed made a reference to Dylan Thomas' poem "Do not go gentle into that good night". "[...] And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
Edit:
[@Scar] Oh it definitely is! I actually have the lyrics scrawled on the inside cover of my English book. I find it a huge mood-lifter
Oh, I missed this, sorry! Me too! Well, not anymore since I don't use school books and/or notebooks anymore *sighs*. But this song is always on my mind. That whole album is incredible. I'm so grateful to Paramore for writing that song. Like I said, it's my spark, I listen to it when I'm feeling down. *stalks a little* You like Halestorm too! ^^ They have some funny songs like "You Call Me a Bitch Like It's a Bad Thing" XD, although they do have songs that don't make me laugh. They have ~amazing covers~ as well.
