The name's Lyn, now get lost loser."
~Lynn Haywood~
"Okay, admire all you want. I am pretty, but if you wanna date, then pfft. I'm way out of your league." Physical Appearance: Age: 18 Height: 5'8" Weight: Roughly 157 lbs. Standing at a solid five foot eight, Lynn is what some might call physically impressive. She has dark blue eyes, and bright blue colored hair. She has a pale complexion and is most of the time considered fairly attractive, and thanks to her routine of jogging in the mornings and working out in the afternoon, she's got some fairly visible muscles on her, though her slender frame hides it fairly well. Most of the time, she wears a purple coat, trimmed with fur over some loose fitting t-shirt with some comfortable jeans and some boots. Often, she can also be seen wearing her headphones around either her neck, or jamming out to some rock music. Her hair is usually tied back in a short ponytail with some sort of fancy looking red tie. "Uh...what? You blind? Because I'm pretty sure my chest ain't exactly small...and don't you dare say it is, or you're gonna wake up in a cave without any repels." Sex: Female "Other kids say I'm a little punk. Those kids, end up crying home to their mommies." Personality: Saying that Lynn is...troublesome is an understatement. Loud, somewhat antagonistic, she's not exactly one to keep her mouth shut about her opinions of others or talk things through in a civilized manner. She's the type to fight first, and ask questions...never. She doesn't think talking solves problems, and often resorts to settling things through other means. Thankfully, it's rare for her to actually lose her temper over something, as she prefers to maintain some level of levelheadedness. She has a tendency not to rely on other people much, and can be fairly difficult to befriend. That said, if one does manages to befriend her, a loyal one they will have. Loyalty and keeping your word sums up just about how much a human is worth to her, and is the easiest way to get on her good side. That said, despite her generally snarky and jerkass attitude, she's a fairly decent person. A bit of a troublemaker of course, and doesn't like playing by the rules, but she's not gonna cheat on any tests or a battle. That said, she also doesn't know the meaning of the words 'give up' or 'running', which means often times she can get in over her head if she can't solve a problem by confronting it head on. As stubborn as a mule, as they say. "I was born, I beat up some losers, I lead a bunch of punks, I beat up some more fuckers who thought they were hot stuff. There, story of my life." Biography: Lynn is from Borough City, a large city in the Huji region. She was the youngest kid of the family, with her brother being a year older than she was, and a sister about three years. She had a relatively normal life growing up, though she got in with a real bad crowd at the fairly early age of 13. While her sister was studying to become a pokemon professor and her brother was wanting to become a ranger...she was hanging around an alley doing whatever it was delinquents do. Skipping school, causing mischief, getting into fights of the bad kind. She was a bit of the black sheep of the family, and caused her parents and siblings no end of trouble growing up. When she was 16, she might as well been called the leader of the worst group of delinquents in the city. It was a nice little gig too, and one she honestly didn't want to give up. She had people to order about, and had no end of stuff to entertain herself with, being picking on some younger kids or other general mischief making such as breaking and entering, theft, and some other small crimes. Well, it was a nice gig. Eventually, as her friends grew up...so did their attitudes. Perhaps it was because she was actually one of the youngest members, but she couldn't understand. Maybe she just wasn't mature enough herself. Most of them quit the gang, and straightened out their lives. One went on to actually become a police officer. Another opened up a store. Same story with most of them. They became upstanding citizens, as one might say. Honestly? She felt betrayed. She spent most of her childhood with those guys. Getting into trouble, fighting...hell, it wasn't exactly a perfect lifestyle, she'd admit that much...but for the love of everything, it was fun! And they had to throw it away for a cushy normal life. Traitors. And that was exactly how she felt. Betrayed. And with parents she didn't exactly like so much, and with her siblings off doing their own thing...she had no reason to stay in Borough any more. So she took what money she had, and left home without a word on her 18th birthday. It's been a few months since then. Currently, she thinks getting a pokemon might be a good idea, and has since headed towards Redorchard. "Hmph. I like pokemon as cool as me, and can make someone run scared." Favored type: Ice and Dark types Favorite Pokémon: Bisharp "Do I need a reason?" Why are you joining the Pokémon League? Why not? Lynn's got nothing better to do, and she might as well do something semi-productive. She honestly just wants to...possibly find a decent group of pokemon and travel the world. Might as well make herself strong by challenging the league in the process, and catch some pretty strong and rare pokemon in the process.. Miscellaneous: Drinks and Smokes, and always seems to have cigarettes on her. Likes ice cream. You hear a sudden rustling from the large bushes on the path’s edge. Whatever is causing this noise has yet to reveal itself. What do you do?
"Don't even give the Rattata the time of day. It's not any of my business, and if it got beaten by some pokemon, then that's life. Still would tell sneasel to check out the rustling, and she'd eagerly agree. Probably a bad idea, but hey, might be free experience. ...might give the rat a potion."
2) An enormous Snorlax has wedged itself between the railings of a bridge over a raging river. It seems to be a long way’s journey to venture around the living water. Your destination is across the bridge. What do you do?
"Kick the snorlax's ass and catch it. Snorlax is a pretty rare pokemon, ain't it? Can't let this opportunity go to waste. Ain't no way I'm walking that far. That fatass of a pokemon should have picked somewhere else to sleep if it didn't wanna wake up." Sneasel obviously would enjoy the challenge, and be all for fighting it.
3) You awaken in the middle of the night to find a Hoothoot rummaging through your pack and taking your food. Before you act, you notice two smaller, faint outlines on the horizon of the dying campfire light. The Hoothoot begins hopping towards her children with your food in tow. What do you do?
"...fuck. I'd leave the Hoothoot alone and maybe leave some food when I leave. If any of you chucklefucks say anything, I'ma feed you to the hoothoot. Sneasel slept through the whole thing.
4) You are walking with your Pokémon through thick forest when you hear a faint humming from the canopy above you. Quickly, a hive of Beedrill cuts through the foliage and descends toward you and your Pokémon. What do you do?
"Hpmh. Obviously kick their ass. Those beedrill need to learn who's boss around here." Sneasel agrees.
5) You’ve defeated a trainer handedly, and you both call your Pokémon back into their Pokéball. The trainer falls to their knees and begins to weep. The trainer is a younger individual who only had one, low-leveled bug Pokémon to face. What do you do?
"Tell the little brat that next time he should chose his battles wisely, and that if he was gonna cry over a single loss, he doesn't have what it takes to be a trainer. Sneasel gives the boy a hug before we leave."
