Personality: Yusei is one of Ishinomori's star pupils, mainly for his academic scores.  Although lacking in combat skills, Yusei's engineering and robotic skills are renown within Asagata, which he proudly holds close to his heart.  The lack of any real combat skills is perfect for Yusei, since he isn't much of a fighter, but more of a friendly and welcoming young man.  Unfortunately, this leads him to being a bit of a coward in a real fight, and instead likes to offer aid from behind the front line, whenever possible.  The young man is also never shy in allowing entrance to his workshop, if the person asks of course.  In fact, he seems to show great enthusiasm and excitement when someone asks to see his work or wants to understand the contraptions that he invents, to the point where he has almost as much joy as a child.
