Kathryn Miller
Well, Kathryn hadn't thought this through that well. "Okay, no I don't have weapons or tools. But there are no cameras on the lower levels other then the security offices, so we'd only have to worry about the main level while we make a run for it." She thought about it for a bit. "The security office down the hall is bound to have weapons. I am not sure what kind but useful ones hopefully. And with that most the staff has left early and the late night screw has not arrived yet. There will be no other chance for this." She was panicking, she was scared of how Deon would React when he realized where she came from, who she was related to, who was following her to this building now. Waiting for his attempt to get a good shot on the man that killed his family.
Deon Erickson
Deon met Cupid in one of the middle levels, even though he was working with allies he still didn't like too many people in his personal quite until everything was in motion. When the sparks were flying was a good way to tell who was really on your side. The floor was an abandoned storage level, a few crates here and there, but nothing much. Also being kept in reserve for a future date. This whole building was just for show until that said date. "Glad you could make it Cupid, and thank you for coming in at such a short notice. But things have... changed." Deon led Cupid through the scattered crates and boxes that the floor was made up of. "Soldier is now aware that I am still alive and well, but they are dealing with public distrust, an will be for a while. Which will buy me time to pull off something that hasn't been done in a long time. Something that should have been taken care of long before the Nightwars." Deon brought Cupid to a long metal crate, large enough to hold a human body. "I don't have the experience, or the know how to keep an empire alive. At least for long periods of time. And with most the old bloods dead, with the exception of a select few." Erickson eyed his guest. "You'd count too I guess. But we are now more desperate then ever. It's like Salem all over again." Deon started to casually walk around the metallic crate, running his fingers across it as he walked. "It's time to put the mortals back on the bottom of the pyramid again. It's time, to bring back the one person who was able to force them into submission." He stopped on the opposite side of the the metal crate and smiled at Cupid. "It's time to bring father home." A few miles away from Erickson's building, the United Nations prepares to discuss a meeting Erickson could care less about. All he cares about is the security that had been provided. Some of which by Soldier due to recent Vampire activity. Still believing the shooting at the club to be an isolated incident, no one batted an eye to the small security detail of four highly trained agents. Agent number five though, had been sent on an unofficial patrol by the building's backup generator, and fuel storage. The structure is built so that if something were to happen to the fuel storage the rest of the building would be safe, but if some of those measures were tampered with there would be nothing to stop a total massacre. Fergus O'Brian stood over two dead guards wearing his borrowed Soldier Uniform smiling at the building's fire systems. With the waterlines cut off, and replaced with access to the fuel lines, there was nothing stopping the dying vampire from taking his lighter and setting the building ablaze. He found the camera that had witnessed him kill the guards with the stolen sidearm, and smiled as he lit his lighter and dropped it into the spilled fuel across the floor. The explosion would kill a lot, and burn even more. But with over 60% of the bodies surviving the blast, due to the remaining fire precautions the surviving members of the UN would demand punishment, many would demand blood. Anyone with basic computer skill could trace several encrypted messages from Soldier bases, many of which discuss events similar to what had just happened. Deon looked out the window as the explosion went off. "I really wished that had gone off a month from now. but resources are limited. And time is even more. But that should buy us some time against Soldier from investigating us. I have more things running in play that should keep buying us time, while rising the paranoia and distrust in humans." He looked back to Cupid. "I need your help to save Father. I can get into Romania, but I don't think I can get Father out. It would be even harder if I tried to resurrect him inside the country. I need your help getting him out. If you need money to do so I will pull up what ever is needed. I just need connections, and transportation. If you do this, I will make sure Father takes note of your assistance when the mortals fall, and the fruits of war are divided." He walked up next to Cupid and looked him in the eyes, only a foot away from him. "Can you help out an old friend, and his family?"
