Abigail was prepared. And by that, she meant that she couldn't fit any more candy in her bag if she tried. She'd spent a lot of time thinking about the journey, so she'd had a load of time to think about her food. With that in mind, she'd made sure that she had all the important food groups included in her bag. Lollipops, sherbet, chocolate, hard candy and of course fruit-flavoured gummy sweets to make sure she was being extra-healthy! Some of the chocolate had fruit and nuts in it, too, so she was basically being super healthy. [color=f26522]Take that, mom and dad! Not wanting me to travel on my own![/color]

That reminded her that she still needed to tell them that she was leaving. She'd wanted to, okay? Like, super wanted to. But it wasn't like they'd let her leave just because she asked, so she had to make sure she was ready to go before she told them anything. Before she left her room, she took one last look around before grabbing a packet of Gummy Wurmples for the walk to the lab. She then shot down the stairs like a cannonball and went straight to the kitchen, launching herself into her parents with a flying hug.

[color=f26522]"MomdadI'mgoingonajourneytobeaPokémonmasterandyoudonthavetoworryaboutitloveyousomuchthanksforlookingaftermeandstuffbye!" [/color] Her parents were too shocked by the amount of words coming out of her mouth to really absorb what she was saying, so that was an opportunity for her to run out of the door and down the street as fast as her short legs and an unreasonable amount of sugar could carry her. As soon as she reached the end of the path, she slowed down to a fast jog and headed in the direction of the lab.

Wow, that was a long line, huh? She'd been sure that there weren't even this many people her age in Redorchard. Still, she wouldn't be that far from the end of the queue and she had about half of her Gummy Wurmples left, so she was pretty happy. At least she was, until some-blue haired girl nearly knocked into her.

She managed to get out of the way just in time, but she'd lost her balance a little bit and dropped her packet of sweets. The world seemed to go in slow motion as the packet flew out of her hands, spilling across the ground. She watched in horror, before turning angrily towards the other girl with an impressive scowl on her face. [color=f26522]"Hey! You know you could've just asked to go in front of me!"[/color]

She realised that the taller girl probably couldn't hear a thing she was saying because of the earphones, so she stomped into the line behind her. Normally, she'd just leave it alone, since she didn't mind having to wait a bit longer, but no-one messed with Abigail Lowe's candy and got away with it!

It was with that thought that she angrily jumped up, trying to reach the taller girl's headphones and making noises of effort each time she went into the air. It took her about four tries before she realised she was better off just pulling the cable. She did, which made her feel a little better even if it was exceptionally petty. She pointed accusingly up at the other girl.

[color=f26522]"Do you have any idea what you just did? Those were important to me, you know! Really really important! What if I starve to death now, huh?"[/color] she yelled. This would probably work better if she was more intimidating than an angry Magikarp. She shook her head. [color=f26522]"You're lucky I'm forgiving you, you know! But I'm gonna help you to be all nice and stuff."[/color] she reached into her pocket, pulling out a chocolate bar and pushing it at the girl's face.

[color=f26522]"So since I've forgiven you, we're gonna be the best of friends from now on, you got that! I'll even let you keep that space in line if you want!"[/color] she said. Of course, there was also the fact that there was no physical way that she would be able to push the other girl out of the spot, but whatever. Abigail smiled innocently and cheerfully, with apparently zero awareness that she'd done anything to annoy or upset the other girl at all.
