It seemed the mornings activities had taken more out of Hiiko than he preferred to let on. There was no need to push himself beyond his capabilities, what good would that do? it was useless to look behind him, judging by the hairs standing on the back of his neck and the hulking presence leering over his shoulder -- Hiiko could tell Harstac was enjoying his struggle. He meant to ask Harstac just WHAT he actually was. Yet he pulled back when ever the urge surfaced. It simply wasn't civil nor was it his business. Backing away Hiiko slapped his hand onto Harstac's shoulder, as well as he could manage. It was dwarfed in comparison and he made it a note not to get on the giants bad side. "Have at it big guy!" An ear to ear grin spread across Hiiko's face, hopefully his winged comrade could give him a run for his money as well as serve as a good gauge for his own strength.
Her eyes stayed on the tiniest member of their small group. No malice, more like a mother keeping an eye on her child. Melethiel knew the former beggar was no child but it didnt stop her from imagining so -- and taking a role as her shadow. just in case she needed it. She was much too shy however to make this known. Or to even approach Ithil. The two hadnt spoken up to this point. So after noticing Kale delivering her weapon safe and sound Mel felt a pang of both joy and envy. Slowly Mel approached the Bows stacked vertically. Ranging in sizes, some standing at an ungodly height, the longbow beckoned her forward. Mimicking the actions of Ithil, Mel looked over the bow. Her hands ran along the smooth wood, stopping along each notch to admire the craftsmanship. Perhaps in the future she could replicate the work. It would be the largest project she had taken on so her skills would surely be tested. After selecting her weapon Mel decided picking armor alone was surely a poor idea and moved back to her safety net in the form of Hiiko's arm. She clutched the arm tight as she awaited Hiiko whom was in the middle of clearing up his earlier mishap. It was somewhat comforting to see that he was socializing and bonding with the fellow recruits. At the same time she felt a tad bit ignored but surely it would pass.
