First Name: Wrynn Last Name: Maelgar Age: 26 Sex: Male Home Nation: Teknoh Appearance: Wrynn is 5'9" and a fit 180 pounds. His long dark brown hair is just shy of shoulder length and is complemented a clean short beard that hugs his jaw line. He typically wears brown or black work pants with pockets for his multitude of tools, tucked over his brown combat style boots. His head is always covered by his custom made set of goggles and a shemagh for his adventures into no man's land. He wears a simple button up long sleeve shirt, color varying day to day, with a leather vest over the top with even more pockets for his gadgets. Personality: Wrynn is a quirky fellow, deeply fascinated by technology. He's as friendly as they come, even though he often prefers working with his tools more then bring around people. He gets extremely excited when talking about something he is working on and can and will ramble on until you stop him. No Man's Land brings out a different side of Wrynn. He is cautious, untrusting, methodical, yet sometimes reckless. When searching for new ideas for his experiments or to add to his collection he will do whatever it takes to secure his treasures. He spends much of his time coming up with new and unique arcane technology and venturing into no man's land in search of lost technology and inspiration. History: Wrynn was orphaned as a child, his parents both doing in a tragic accident while working on an experiment together. His mother's brother agreed to take care of him, but through his childhood they were never close and drifted apart as Wrynn grew older. In school, Wrynn never really fit in much with any one crowd, but he got along with almost everyone, even if they thought him a bit odd. His teachers, though, soon realized his potential to become an arcane constructor as he was fascinated by technology and quickly became proficient at using any machine placed in his hands. At the age of 15 he began apprenticing with one of the many skilled machinists in the city. Hungry for knowledge and fascinated by what he was being taught, he soon left school behind him and focused all his time into the practice of arcane construction. He read everything he could get his hands on and built, took apart and experimented on everything he could find. He quickly built a reputation as a skilled machinist and took great pride in the work he did. And then one day a diver came to his workshop and changed his life. The driver had a massive A/B and wanted Wrynn to make him a rolling construct powered by this new A/B that could be programmed to follow a tracking device he kept on his person, with a large yet durable storage container on it. Amazed by the power he was dealing with, Wrynn carried out the divers task and began immediate preparations to head out into no man's land. 7 years later and no man's land has become as familiar to him as his workbench back home. Occupation: Arcane Constructor/Diver - - - - (Power Matrix) Primary Focus: Arcane Construction Magical Capabilities: Advanced Arcane Construction through use of Specialized Tools used to harness Arcane Power Body Modifications: Both of his forearms have special braces built directly into his nervous system. Starting roughly an inch below his elbow and stopping roughly an inch from his wrist, they are about two inches in height and three inches wide. The top has slots for two small A/Bs and a third slot for A/A, though the third slot can function as an extra A/B slot if he so chooses. These braces serve two functions, offence and defence. When equipped with A/A, they serve as low caliber pistol like weapons. On defence, they can produce small barriers of 12" in diameter. Because of the way these bracers are wired directly into his nervous system, he can operate them on the fly with his thoughts, but any damage to them lights up his pain receptors just as if they were his bare arms. Wynn's custom built goggles are also tied directly into his nervous system. His goggles are wired to his through the sides of his head, just behind his eyes. A small circular fitting where they attach to his head holds a very small A/B capable of continual operation. The goggles give him night vision, enable him to zoom in upon the many tiny circuits he works on and can identify heat signatures, but only within a small 10' radius in his field of vision. Weapons and Equipment: Wrynn has a leather satchel he uses to hold a few tools and any treasures he may find while out exploring. He keeps a few knives stashed away on his person as well in case his bracers run out of ammo. He also has a prototype jumppack that he has started to wear. It's a square, with a dome shaped top, roughly 18" from top to bottom and three inches thick. On each side there is a two inch wide, six inch long tube that holds one A/B each. At the moment, the jumppack has a harness that straps across his shoulders and around his waist, with a button attached to the right of his chest. Hitting the button simply causes the A/B crystals to send out a blast of energy, propelling him forward or straight into the sky a few meters. He is still trying to find a way to connect it directly to his bracers so he can control it via his neurological receptors. Wrynn also has two specially designed 10" blades that can be inserted into the openings of his bracers with straps to wrap around his hands and help hold them in place, in case he is in a closer combat situation. Specialties: Extremely creative when it comes to machines and technology, he can come up with and create very original ideas. He's extraordinarily skilled at his craft and is beginning to become more and more adept at combining technology directly with a person's neurological system for enhanced user interface.
