JD has recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has been searching all over the country for the right internship to take her down the right path. She has wanted to be a journalist since she was a kid and hearing about the death of Peyton Glencross has piqued her journalistic curiosity. Securing a job with Channel 4, she has moved to Justice to investigate.

Jessica Dallas Mason was born the second of two on a small farm just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up she was always close to her older brother Dominic even though the two shared literally nothing in common. Their father often made the kids help around the farm, which neither particularly minded. It helped instil in them the drive to succeed, determination and the humbleness. Although she often accompanied her father and brother on hunting and hiking trips, JD knew that her calling lay elsewhere. She would often sit and play on her computer, playing games, writing fan fiction and maybe hacking some companies funds for some extra cash (hey those shoes were expensive ok?)

In contrast to her older brother who was the strong silent type, Jess was very much a moto mouth with a sarcastic and blunt wit which often lead her to ending up in serious trouble and Dominic bailing her out. JD had a job at on her school newspaper and eventually realised she enjoyed telling these stories and it wasn’t just for extra credit like first intended. With a new goal in mind, she began to study hard before eventually making her way to the University of Texas At Austin, where she stayed for three years studying journalism with a minor in psychology. She fell in love with a girl and the two were incredibly happy (although their different job idea’s meant a lot of their relationship was long distance.

Upon her graduation, JD felt the pull of journalism even more when she heard about the death of Peyton Glencross. Something just didn’t add up to the wide eyed wannabe reporter, so with what money she had, JD secured herself an internship at Channel 4 and headed off to the sun-kissed city of Justice, California to investigate the tragedy.
