His hair is of a dirty-Jet Black, having small hints of Brown that flicker amongst certain strands. Not so much matching the facial hair he has, which is a standard dark brown and surrounds his chin, mouth and cheek, it sometimes can be seen as a decent blend. The hair isn't styled to any formal standards, simply being left ruffled and slightly messy due to the slightly uncaring nature of his appearance. Arnkel's eyes shimmer with a Emerald-green tone, blending nicely with the rest of his face. His body structure isn't too much of a boasting aspect, having only a simple appearance when it comes to being brawn. Strength may not be so much of an issue, but there's definitely more able than himself out there. Arnkel had always been a stranger to war, but the experience he's managed to fit in have given him that extra time to perfect the skills needed to survive. Sometimes he comes across as a bitter soul, obviously having seen quite a bit through the years he's been a part of the conflict, though he has times where he can lay back and enjoy life as it is, if there's really anything to enjoy. Arnkel has always been quite awkward to talk to, seeing as the whole aspect of being sociable wasn't introduced on a major scale until the War had really kicked in. Being quite touchy on certain subjects of conversation, having a tendency to try and avoid dark and depressing details about the bloody conflict when talked about...He's quite the peculiar individual. Background Nisha was a small Farming Settlement belonging to three families, all Aislu. Two Tynal families and one Garea family, to be exact. It was formed outside of Rickhelm, being formed purely based off of three Men and their pathway to small fortune. These men had developed families, bringing years of family bloodlines that remained living on the Homestead. They weren't competing, and banded together as one small community, all housing about Seven individuals per family. And it was 23 Years before King Riaktho IV's rise to power where a male named Arnkel was born. Placed under the name of the Hudal family, not the Farnswo or Tyrak families, Arnkel began to live the life that many under the tradition also lived. It was quite Solitary, and only the Father's of each family would occasionally visit the City of Rickhelm for business enquiries and the selling of Crops. Growing up was as simple as it could be, having few people to interact with, but enough to ensure that almost everyone got along. It was low-down, filled with a decent amount of labour to keep them occupied and well-fed. Arnkel wasn't completely perfect at the whole business of manual labour, sometimes getting the stronger members to assist in some of the tasks he could not succeed in. It was quite repetitive, this lifestyle, as this sort of continued for the 23 Years he spent living there. During that year, however, he began to develop feelings for one of the Family's daughters, and close friend of his, Hermia. It wasn't anything large, just mostly awkwardness between the two due to the lack of any major confidence to reveal one another's feelings. The time came, however, when the rights of these individuals were being restricted by the Rise of the New King. This didn't particularly intervene with the Three Family's work or lives that much, due to their detachment from Major Urban lives. However, Hermia and Arnkel's Older Brother Isiah thought otherwise. They ran into very few minor problems when selling their crops, seeing as most of it went to the Guardsmen of Rickhelm anyway, yet they began to feel increasing sympathy for the people suffering around them. The Current Three Fathers warned them to not drag themselves too far into their business, seeing as it might start to effect the lives of their own farming industry. With arguments begin to arise most nights, Nisha became quite a restless location. Hermia attempted to convince Arnkel himself to try to convince the Father to do something towards helping those with less fortune, but Arnkel felt rather uncomfortable with standing up for himself, ending up telling her that his thoughts and feelings were best kept to himself, as there was little he could do that would make any difference. It was a motto he lived off of throughout his life, feeling that a single individual didn't have the power to change history, unless they were sitting upon the Throne. Hermia, bringing her brothers Gaet, Poia, her friend Queina and Isiah, they began to think of ways to assist. When suddenly the Protesting began to form, they thought they had found their own way to prove themselves within the Kingdom's justice. At that same time, Juliua Tynak, from one of the families, was called to duty by his superiors within the Expeditionary Forces. Within days of hearing of its existence, one of the Father's assisted them in leaving, thinking it was their choice despite being bitter with their decision. It was only weeks later when the massacre was heard of. That had left a large chunk of all the families broken of morale. They began to stop working, refuse to leave their rooms as their money began to flutter away into the wind. The fortunes planned were nothing but a dream now, as the Father who hadn't stopped them from leaving felt responsible for not talking reasoning with the family members and friends he grew up around, taking his own life. His suicide was the final draw, as the Family began to suddenly leave one by one, going their own separate ways. Juliua never returned, having suffered the experience of killing innocents of the same Race, as well as those who he grew up with inside. Arnkel was troubled by what they were doing, many leaving into the distance in hopes to die before finding any hope for their own kind. He stayed, with his father. Soon though, his Mother left, and Nisha became a ghostly homestead. Three farming compounds were empty, only one of them housing the two left. It took three days for the broken and sorrowful pair to split their own ways. Arnkel's father planned to move towards the Capital of Satura in hopes to make whatever difference he could. Arnkel was to move as far away as possible, now being 23 Years of age, and to head towards the Tumdar Desert in hopes to find a low-life away from the major Military forces. As he left, the two exchanged many farewells and memories, before finally splitting apart from one another for good. It wasn't too long before news propped up. Arnkel hadn't heard from anyone from his own family, and so anyone else's, until now. Juliua, a man who'd been apart of one of the few Families, was nearing a revolution. As time spread, tales of the Man leading Militia raids against small forts began to become more often. Overtime, the insurgency began, and Arnkel was personally invited to take arms within. Juliua met him in person, whilst spending time in the Tumdar village of Yuia, to be trained as one of his own Soldiers. Despite forming the Rebellion, Juliua wasn't the complete Leader of the Insurgency, having a few Elders oversee his decisions. That was when, after a day of convincing, Arnkel finally began to see if he could go against whatever pain that had been caused by the petty decisions the King had made. Training within the ranks, and eventually rising through the ranks over the course of 6-Years, he fought within enough battles to earn the title of Sentry, now becoming a valuable asset to those of newer allegiance. Arnkel was now a Grey-Band Insurgent. Affiliates The Tynak Family - Mostly Deceased The Farnswo Family - All Deceased The Hudal Family - Almost Completely Deceased Juliua Tynak - Alive [Serving as the Founder of the Grey-Band Rebel Alliance] Hermia Tynak - Deceased [Died amongst the others in the Protest Massacre] King Riaktho IV - Personal Grudge, Very much Alive
Strengths Intellect - Having the brains was always a primary advantage to the Man's life. Being a problem-solver, a strategist in recent years and having capabilities to analyse key information paths to ensure he survives in the field of Combat has truly made him the most valuable he could be within his new Role in Mrak. Understanding - Having his family torn apart was one of the ways that could help him connect with the new-lurch on Huge amounts of comrades. Many of those who joined the Alliance had suffered greatly, all in different ways, which had made him a very understandable and sympathetic soul towards those who fought with himself. Leadership and Fighting - Being a Sentry is not easy job. It may not be the most-high Classed authorities within the Force, but it at least made him capable to have the newest of warriors listen to him. His intelligence has helped a few individuals during raids, many of which have saved countless lives. The spectacle has been one of the major reasons his promotions were issued. He's also been known for his ability to fit into many natural environments, not having a specified speciality and being able to adapt to most fighting locations. Weaknesses Connection - Being able to stay connected with his comrades has always been a tricky task. Seeing as most of the time that the group spend is without any fighting, it can sometimes make things rather awkward. He's not the one, however, to hang near the higher ranks, as he's more likely going to feel more attached to the lower-ranking Insurgents. This sometimes can have an issue on his reputation amongst the Alliance High-Ranking Officers. Strength - Though it isn't completely useless, he isn't a naturally built warrior. His arms have some muscle, but his overall strength can be outmatched during any duels between larger Oppositions. Sometimes, when swords clash, he can be overwhelmed, if he doesn't move fast enough to escape an impending doom. Mindset - He can get easily distracted, Arnkel can. Not on battle as much, as it seems, but sometimes he's prone to trail off into silence if someone mentions any subjects that might've affected him greatly, such as the Protest Massacre, his Family's crumble, the Battle of Dya'Chi Fort and the Moonlight Mountain Massacre. These effects may not be lasting, but they are indeed noticeable. Discovered Chias Alu'Tzam - A Defensive Chias Ability, this forms small shards of earth and stone that come from the ground below, surrounding him in a small defensive bubble. They spin rapidly around him, useful almost indefinitely against opponents who need to get close. Arrows and bolts aren't guaranteed to be deflected, and New-Age Rifle Bullets are usually easy to over-power this Ability. Hyak'No La - A second Defensive Chias Ability, it uses small forms of teleportation. Though it cannot move very far, its purpose is to evade combat before it hits, having a rather small charging time. In place of where he was once standing, a Stone Statue-like copy of himself remains, which can be used to slow down the reflex and attack of the opposition. The distance of teleportation is extremely minor. Character Theme Arnkel's Theme
