[b][color=B00000]What Brings You To The City:[/color][/b] Never being one to stay in the one city for long, Lana has found her way to California looking to find more contacts for fencing her stolen goods within the Spanish and Chinese Gangs that she has contacts with over in the East Coast. She has been looking for a place to set up camp for a while that she can always come back to when shit goes south and Justice looks to be that exact kind of city that could be just that for her.

[b][color=B00000]Life Before You Moved In:[/color][/b] Lana was born in Saint Petersburg in Russia to a very well off, noble standing family. Her mother killed herself not long after having Lana. Lana is the youngest of 9 children that the poor woman had had over her 28 years of life. Lana has 8 older brothers that she does not get along with as they made her childhood hell, treating her just like one of the boys and causing her various injuries and harm over the years. Her father is very strict, stern and cold and has nothing but ambition and drive for all of his children. He was 33 when Lana was born and despite being young, he acted like he was an elder man that had the entire weight of the world on his shoulders. He expected the utmost perfection from his children and anything less was worthy of punishment.

Throughout her childhood, Lana was forced into many lessons that she did not enjoy and so she never excelled in any of these. The only lessons that stuck with her that she took any pleasure in were her violin lessons, acrobatics and gymnastics and her fitness sessions. Two of her most hated lessons were in Show Jumping and Horse Riding. Her father was adamant to push her so hard in these due to how petite that she was. She became a champion show jumper by the time she was 10 and after 2 years of rigorous training and fighting to keep the title, Lana had enough and ran away from home at the age of 13.

She stole enough money from her father to at least make it to Moscow. She knew that even though it was a highly populated area, it would be harder to find her there. She soon found out how hard it was to live on the streets and almost died before Olga found her. Olga was an elderly woman that was the mother to one of the criminal undergrounds leaders. This was how Lana got her start in the crime world. She was trained on how to pick pockets, how to handle knives, how to handle herself when she doesn’t have or loses her weapon and how to deal with security systems and how best to break and enter into places. Honestly, it is a lot of things that she never imagined herself doing and yet she has found that she loves it all.

Further to these studies, she discovered that she was very good at acting and has grown into a very capable scam artist. Her underworld connections allowed her to get counterfeit paperwork created and it has helped her and her bosses to rake in the money. Plus, pretending to be someone else when she is out and about in the world makes it even less likely that her father will be able to find her easily. It’s a win/win situation really. 

Time moves forward and Lana is tasked with going to America to help set up connections and establish bases with a few others. As her paperwork is entirely counterfeit, Lana is living in America illegally and if anyone finds out and reports her, she could be deported – if they can catch her. In her time in America, Lana has worked with both Spanish and Chinese mafia groups. Her interactions with these groups has allowed her to become semi-fluent in the languages just enough to be able to trade and make agreements with the people within the establishments.

She has lived in almost every state and city that you can imagine as she never settles in one place for very long.

She prefers her own space and is not comfortable having another person living under the same roof as her. Because of this she has locks on absolutely everything of hers and has various hiding holes throughout her apartment that she set up whilst her roommate was not present. Her room is probably more secure than the White House.
