[b][color=fff79a]What Brings You To The City:[/color][/b] Dj has come to Justice to start over with a new life. He wanted to get away from the home and the business he helped his wife build before he vanished. She bought him out and now he is figuring he has enough to go on for a little bit.  

[b][color=fff79a]Life Before You Moved In:[/color][/b] Dj grew up in South Carolina, the youngest son to a farmer and housewife. Life was tight money wise and when he was young he lacked drive. Being the youngest he got away with a lot more than his siblings did and ended up getting into a lot of trouble. He was late to graduate high school and arrested several times for minor drug possession (Pot) and bar fights. It wasn't until he was 19 that he met the local Marine Recruiter who set him on a path for a better life. He buckled down with the ever seeing eye of the Marines hovering over his shoulder and finally graduated high school when he was 20 years old.

The day after graduation he was off to Parris Island and a new life. The Marines seemed to be exactly what Dj needed to thrive and find direction; completely turning his life around. By the time he was 22 he had served multiple tours in the Middle East and jumped ranks quickly. Profession wise things were going great but the more men under his command or that stood by his side that he lost the more closed off he became. Refusing to date, even though his mom kept pestering him to find a good girl to settle down with and have a family. 

While over seas he became friends with a man named Marc that was about to go on leave. Marc seeing how stressed out Dj was suggested that he come with him to visit an old friend back in the states. Seeing as he just wanted to get away from the conflict over seas he took Marc up on the offer and was introduced to the woman that would become his wife - Adelaide Grimmaldi. The two clicked and ended up getting married a year later. But War is hell and after an IED explosion while on another tour his wife was informed that he died. Thing was that he had been taken hostage. Years passed before he was actually rescued during an OP. 

When he returned to his wife, after being gone 5 years, they were never able to patch things up. She had moved on with her life and seeing a dead man walking nearly caused her to break. They parted ways as best as they could and he holds no animosity towards her really but it still hurt since thoughts of her was what kept him going during his time as a prisoner. After the divorce he decided it was time to retire and start a new life.
