Jesse was about to land when Shiver appeared her energy field warping the area magnetic field by altering polarity.

Jess knew automatically what she was seeing was a territorial display because logically it was unnecessary for Micheal's Girl Friend to waste her energy coming in person to inform her of a patrol. Jessica always wore her Commsband and she was certain that everyone knew that.

Then while The young Magnetic Meta pondered the question Shiver suddenly gave off a powerful localized Electro Magnetic Pulse.

It might have been worse than it was if not for Jesse countering it by absorbing a portion of it's impact.


She was about to voice her concerns and erect an even more power counter field when Shiver vanished. Jessica had to wind down her own field before speaking and just as she was about to voice her concerns to Micheal she detected Shiver once more approaching critical near Head Quarters and was about to tell Omega that they needed to go to Shiver and place her under control which in this case would require Jess focusing a magnetic version of a Faraday Cage around her and teaching her quickly how to control herself or have Rey build an actual Faraday Cage. Then Shiver once more pulled her disappearing act.

In an attempt to do her duty as a protector Jessica altered her magnetic field to the polar opposite of Shiver's turning herself into a hypersensitie antenna tuned to the distraught and dangerous meta female.

Just as she tuned her own body into a Shiver sensor she became aware that something was wrong.
