Xx---------------------------xX Samad & Cade Xx---------------------------xX

Location: On route to the cruise ship currently in harbor
When Samad was truly and completely unsatisfied with something, it showed. Namely with an endless silence that was broken by the bare minimum of words when addressed. Currently his figure was leaning on a lamp post nearby where the cab had parked nearest the curb, every often his eyes would pass subtle, hard glances at his partner as he extended his awareness to the scenery around him. It was more out of habit than anything. His current appearance, like much of the rest of his attire, was made more for movement and comfort. Instead of semi formal attire, he wore a black sweater over a collared shirt and slender jeans hugged his hips well, his shoes a off white pair of athletic sneakers. He looked like any normal guy would strolling down the pier for a pleasant evening. Cade, on the other hand, usually wore something more prim and proper attire in comparison: a white dress sure, a v-neck sweat and a dress vest which buttoned at the waist. Instead of jeans, topped off with a belt and ironed out trousers. The taller but more slender man was hauling his bulky medical bag quickly out of the taxi, bent at the waist within the taxi as he passing the driver the right amount of tips and payment for his rush hour service. Standing upright, he then held out a single finger to prevent the man from taking off and rechecked his things hastily to ensure everything was in order. His arm wrapped about his medical bag that threatened to slip from his grasp while he pushed up his large, rounded glasses back upon his nose. “Thank you, Sir.” He stated right before the car rumbled, the tires screeched quickly into traffic and out of sight quickly. It was enough to cause Cade to flinch visibly, his face frowning at the rudeness displayed. He snapped off a less than enthusiastic comment, his eyes watching the departure’s direction, with slight sarcasm to it. “Great day to you too…” Sighing, he flipped his arm over his shoulder where his medical dangled from his fingers lightly. That’s when he noted his partner was already starting to move, not bothering to make sure he had everything, and casually strolled down the pier toward the boat. His cane flickered out as he began limping heavily on one side from a well practice feign that even the blond had difficulty in identifying it not being a genuine wound. Cade bit his lip twice in slight guilt over their lateness and resisting asking Samad to wait up, mainly because it was his fault they might miss the boat. If he hadn’t slipped into a meditative state for an extra hour and gotten lost into his own mind, then it wouldn’t have happened. He wasn’t against his Persian partner holding a grudge for a few hours, if he knew it was that simple but he got the sensation the more serious man would’ve held it completely against him for much longer. For days, if not weeks. Thinking about this, Cade let a soft, annoyed sigh escape before he realised he was gradually being left behind. “Shit!” Cade cursed under his breath then rushed to catch up, his shoes clipped along the concrete then to wood upon reaching the pier. The others would see them shortly arriving and clearly missed the memo over when to arrive.
