Valence paused for a moment, turning his head partway towards her. Facing away from her as he was, he couldn't really see her, but he kept his head where it was. "I'm going to... I don't know. Maybe I should turn myself in to you people? Let you have your revenge after all. Maybe just try to delay the Empire. I'm not going to be able to stop them, so I don't know if I should bother. I don't want to see my people fall, whether in a week or in ten. One man cannot stop an empire." With that, he reached up to grab ahold of some of the small, scaly spikes that ran every few feet down Delphyne's spine. Heaving himself up, he sat himself between the gap of spikes, enough room behind him for a person and a half. Shifting around a little, he settled himself, and then turned back to Elise. Offering a hand out to her, he said, "Come on, it's a ways away. Nothing like traveling on a Wyvern, anyhow. And hold on."
