Another school isn't possible. Only Death and co. even knew about demon weapons. It's DWMA or nothing.

(S)He also has shown to not know things about SE or be vague on them, but even (s)he probably wouldn't allow another school. AND EVEN IF YOU WERE FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL, YOU'D STILL BE ABANDONING A PARTNER. An 18 year old transferring into DWMA makes no sense. Just pick a usable backstory. Previous partner, late bloomer, whatever other things I suggested.
