Tia's eyes started to cross so she closed her eyes and massaged her temples. She needed to get up and go do something fun. She hadn't heard from Miles. She knew he was off with an old buddy doing something she thought about the missing R&D. It was after 8pm by this time and Bell called her to tell her that Wicked's memorial had taken longer but it was being set up outside as they spoke. They chatted for a little bit. She got her caught up on the day's events. Bell laughed. [color=f7976a]"I remember those days, it was 2 decades of my life like that."[/color]

Tia hung up the phone a few minutes later and went outside to look at the monument. What she saw was a 15 foot statue of Wicked Flame in action. At first she was a little overwhelmed seeing the woman Wicked had been before she lost her battle with the angel. Tia thought that the placement of the statue was perfect. The memorial plaque at the bottom said, [color=f6989d]"Wicked Flame, the founder of the Meta Agency. Loved by some, hated by many and respected by ALL."[/color]

[center][h1] [color=ec008c]Enyo[/color] and [color=fff200]Shiver[/color] [/h1][/center]

The limo pulled up in front of the restaurant and the ladies were met by their handsome dates for the evening. Enyo was pretty good in social situations due to living on the mountain where manners were a must. Shiver was always comfortable in social situations. Once ushered inside the gala the girls were openly stared at. Everyone wanted to see and meet the meta's. Most of the ladies were very friendly but there were also those that were jealous and catty. 

Most of the gentlemen there knew Enyo from the rescue the other day. Others knew Shiver from the building collapse. Introductions were made and drinks were handed out. Shiver and Enyo were having a blast dancing until the lights went out. Several people screamed as they were suddenly off balance or tripped into or over someone or thing. Shiver walked to the middle of the room and began to glow softly at first and then brighter so people could see. Most people didn't know what to do so Shiver asked them [color=fff200]"Could you please return to your seats until the situation is resolved." [/color]Shiver saw the staff bringing in candles.

She also saw something she was unsure of. [color=fff200]"Enyo did you see that?"[/color] [color=ec008c]"What?"[/color] [color=fff200]"Over there. Is there a toddler in here?"[/color] [color=ec008c]"I highly doubt it."[/color]

The person in charge of the evening's festivities got up and said a few things and apologized for the lights and honored Shiver for the helping out and then he shrieked in pain and grabbed his lower leg as he fell onto the ground. 

Shiver saw him dart back into the crowd in the dark. Ladies screamed as they thought there was an animal by their feet. Shiver teleported out and grabbed Tia from her office. When she returned to the party there were screams everywhere. [color=fff200]"Freeze the room."[/color]

Tia froze the room and Shiver went over to the corner where the screams had been emmulating from. [color=fff200]"I KNEW IT!"[/color] She grabbed up an insidious looking evil Chucky doll. It was holding a small knife. The room unfroze and people saw Shiver holding the doll and started to scream. [color=fff200]"Ready Tia?"[/color] She tossed the doll into the air and Tia blew it up. 

The three metas left the room and went in search for more of the animated creatures.
