Fendros' eyes widened upon seeing Miranor and her team member. If they were transformed back, that could mean they used the gas on them. At this point the plan was to either withdraw or make the assault with just the ladders. But had they been expected? As for Ahnasha's suggestion, Fendros' immediate reaction was to shake his head. "We're meant to wait for-" he cut himself off. Seeing the situation made him try to think of alternatives but there didn't appear to be any. Still, the danger Ahnasha would be in would be immense. He couldn't come along with her; he couldn't turn invisible. Fendros looked directly at Ahnasha and grabbed her forearm. "You'll be alone up there," he said with discomfort, "you need to get that gate open. Be careful." Back behind the treeline, Gallus sighed quietly, hiding all other signs of his sudden feelings of dread. The weak point of their plan had been broken. While he was worried for Miranor's life, he was interested in what Ri'vashi had to say about it.
