But always, the people of Atlantis kept it at bay. Of course, everyone in the city of Atlantis knew that the seas could not be controlled, or they could not be controlled.. for long. The Atlanteans swam about the waters of the sea, the sharks continued to swim about within a peaceful state of mind. The energy bubble around the gigantic city of Atlantis kept most of the sea creatures out, including the Kraken. Something the Atlanteans would only use during war. Inside of Atlantis, the council was meeting. The council being the back-up king and queens for when the current ruler of Atlantis was found dead, or missing, or unable to do something himself. At the moment, the conflict on Earth about the titans drove also much destruction in the sea under; numerous earthquakes had struck the bubble around Atlantis and caused it to crack in the middle. When the people of the city had gotten afraid, and the unknown king that usually stayed in the shadows ruling, left, a new ruler was going to be chosen soon. "Yaldur, what do you suspect? Of course, he would leave. When the original King of Atlantis was killed in the war against the Amazons, we already knew we could not find another worthy one to rule over the citizens and army commanders." The older Atlantean sat there in the stretching chair, with his arms folded across his chest. The one who was spoken to turned her head, revealing the unusually blue hair. "Then, what should we do, Ka-rel? Do what we have forbidden to do, create a council of rulers and send factions under us to create war like we did last time, then?" The two arguing figures were talked over when the other council members began to argue and yell. Yaldur sighed and slammed his hand upon the table in the room, ordering silence within the region. "Enough, Enough! What we most do i--" Suddenly, the ground shook compellingly once more out of seemingly millions of times. The marble floors cracked, and the splits appeared on the walls and to the ceiling. Rocks fell downward, breaking the table that the many councilmen fell to. Sea-creatures swam away in the presence of the shaking sea as the tornado of water swirled left and right, tearing pieces of rocks in Atlantis asunder, sending fish away also. The families of the ocean looked upward, a child of Atlantis stared down at his bear, and then his mother.. before the darkness of hurt and rocks compelled them into the depths of the sea, deeper into the ground. The screams from the surviving citizens rung the ears of the newfound General of Atlantis Army.. well, soon-to-bee, general. The blue skinned young-man stared outward with his blue eyes, his black hair swirling around. He wore his black armor, it covering that of his form as he held his katana sword on his side. Again, he was stopped from training because of the numerous Earthquakes. His black armor was spiked at the shoulders and the knuckles to bring hurt upon rebels against the Atlantis council and law-breakers in the city. His dark cloak on his back colored like the night sky of the surface land hovered against the ground. The different thing about him, was his Mediterranean-blue skin and eyes. Usually, Atlanteans of the city simply looked human, the only thing different with them would be their gills on their neck. But of course, he was different. He was born of an Atlantean and a human, this was discouraged in both the surface land and the underwater depths. The mutation had brought him to be an outcast of above and below. But his strength had increased, and with a turn of his hand, the waters would obey him. It is said that only a king could control the waters, and the only way he could do that was with the Trident of Poseidon. But did not wield the power of a king nor the trident. He himself wondered how he could do these things. Though just in the middle of his deep thought, the ground shook once more. The floor under him split as he wailed, turning his head to stare at the mirror behind himself. The open mouth and a high Gurgle sound from his lips, before blacking out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Days Later-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He could smell the sea water, but he could not see the beautiful waters. The dizziness also resulted in his discombobulation of mind, the ventilation of the water that were filtered into his gills were gone. His eyes were widened as he gagged and choked, his hands around his neck. Automatically, the lungs had began to function when he had awoken and started 'breathing' again. The chills down his back caused him to shiver as the sun glistens upon him. His naked body wandered outward as he stared.. where was he? Who, was he? His digits dug into the ground as he stares down at the jacket and tattered clothing in front of him, along with the fire in the middle of the beach.. the seagulls dodging his unusual form. He knew that the people of the surface world would not act kindly against him and his blue skin, so the tattered trenchcoat and jeans were worn, along with the Yankees cap, splattered with grease stains, lay on his beautified onyx-colored hair. He bowed his head as he walked into the streets, pocketing his hands as the coat hid his medium-sized fins. Here he was, alone in this world.
