Are accomplishments meaningful? Rhetorical question, but I spend my life working toward the next goal; I don't have time to revel in the accomplishments I've already done because they won't help me accomplish future goals. I only have so much time in this world and must get done as much as humanly possible in that time to the greatest effectiveness available. When an accomplishment is over, it's done. That means there is more to do and something else I could be doing.
