Righty-ho, so here's some idea of what to expect.

[*]Job classes... kind of. You might officially be a Blue Mage or a Thief, but no one said you had to conform strictly to their usual depictions. Maybe you're a Blue Mage that's too weak to learn any worthwhile abilities? Perhaps your method of thievery involves informing your target of the intended time of robbery. Or your Black Mage is a subtle Black Mage expy.
[*]Assignments. And not just the boring written stuff. Students who feel up to the task can take part in hunting various monsters for rewards. Nothing like field experience to fuel your studies! And to the owner of Carrot the Malboro, keep the damn thing on a leash, the rewards are starting to diminish with the amount of students that thing breathed on.
[*]Wacky Hijinks and stuff. Expect highly-mismatched parties, overblown drama about the struggles of learning how to sword things, and deep, rich backstory on those four crystals that I'm sure will come into play eventually. Perhaps. Probably not.
[*]Though if people want something resembling a grander plot, we can certainly work on that. For now, let's focus on establishing ourselves and all that fun stuff.[/list]
