If a creature naturally has wings then that would simply be put into the appearance
Much like my fairy character whom has wings can fly as well as the dragon.

An example between natural trait and ability would be for example:
Manticore: has horns of a bull, claws, scorpion tail etc.
Ability: venom control in tail and claws, even when parti human 

See the difference? The natural part is the appendages the ability lies in things such as venom control or Telekineses.

Edit: though I will say you must speak to other players before using mind control or mind reading. Use it sparingly or on random npcs only
