Kovinth Kai stood outside the tavern, squinting at the sign and all the unfamiliar sights. Even with as much time spent in Ravnica and away from Tarkir, places with buildings and streets still baffled him sometimes. He recalled his accidental arrival on this plane, simply searching for new places to explore. His first flight with a local, weak-willed Drake had given him an idea of the landscape. Dark and dreary, towns and cities, monsters and men. Overall, he would describe the place as somewhat fetid. But the call had gone out, and this plane had dragons on it somewhere. He'd need the coin to stay and find them. All the allies he could find in all the planes would help in his travels. Shrugging off his thoughts as he did the physical connections to the worlds he visited, Kovinth entered the bar, sitting at a chair near the door and catching the barkeeps eye. "Black Mead." He said quietly, adjusting the belt of his robes to sit more comfortably. "The winds are warm and hot, like the breath of a dragon." He said, making eye contact as his drink arrived. The barkeep grunted and pulled out a key and note, passing them along with the mug. "You're late." "Yes, I know. As I said, the winds." Kovinth said, taking the offered objects and following the note to the back room. He sighed as he heard voices already, he'd likely missed the first part of this meeting. Kovinth unlocked the door and slipped inside, sipping from his mug as he locked the door again. "Hm, coin." He said, eyeing the bag on the table. "I like the look of that. I assume we're killing someone in exchange? I'll be filled in later, I'm sure."
