What is Iron Shogun? Iron Shogun is a Steam Punk/Feudal Japan inspired rp. I've lent quite a lot from The lotus wars series, but no prior information is needed to understand the premise and get into the rp. 

[i][b]What can you expect;[/b][/i] Duels, Court Intrigue, Downright war, martial arts goodness, mechanized samurai suits, Japanese folklore inspired monsters and political and social change brought on by bloodshed. The RP is character driven, but the world will conspire and move without your direct input. I will try to offer a dynamic experience to the best of my abilities. Kill someone important, expect a domino effect. You can also expect death, character death among it if you get to careless. If you do not take heed in battle, or mind your tongue when in the wrong company, you might end up in the river somewhere...

The world is a vast and a often hostile place, from the steppes of the Vuc to the Barren norths of the Daen and down to the southern shores of the Green Sea. All with its own distinctive cultures. All with their tribes, kings, thiefdoms and struggling would be powers. The world is full wonder both gorgeous and ferocious, from the steppes giant wolves, to the strange beasts that drink human blood and take the shape of other people to the majestic Thunderbirds in the north.

Each region its own wonder, and each culture with its own myths, legends and customs. But all these are under threat, from each others ambitions, and more recently, from the warmachine in the East. Becouse there lies an Island kingdom with imperial aspirations. Known once as the Golden Islands and ruled by the Golden Emperor, a descendant of the Islands gods themselves. The country is home to a longstanding tradition of war and honor, the way of the warrior; Bushido. This juggernaut of a Country has now begun to cast its shadow across the world.

But not everyone is partial to the Shogun and the Emperors plans to conquer the world. Especially when his own people are starving and dying to the pollution of his machines. In fact, a rebellion is brewing and men and women plot his downfall. This is where you come in. You are wanderers who are pulled into this conflict, and your courage will be needed in stopping the Mad Shogun and his many Warlords.

* Players will be playing either members of the Clans who have reason to want the Shogun dead or Foreigners who obviously need to stop the shogun. 

* You can play as either a normal Human, in which case you can be anything but a samurai to warrior monk. Or you can be a Yokai-Kin, and posses clan specific powers such as controlling animals.

* You will be part of a rebellion, that starts small but likely grows as you gain support.
