Gren
Location: Folio Town - The Blue Treeko Inn Activity: Waiting for food and talking to Breeze Gren lowered his head when he was told that going into the trunk was dangerous. Gren didn't really say why he wanted to go in the first place. He had to have a long talk with mom about going, and she got... Unpleasant. Of course she was only worried about Gren, thinking that he was far too young to try to burden something as heavy as finding out who his real parents were. At the very least, she wanted him to grow up (i.e. evolve) into a larion first before he left. But Gren insisted, day after day, to the point that even a few adults (Most whom Gren didn't really know) tried to tell him to just stay with his mother. Gren didn't know how Karaha thought about Gren going, so he just stayed quiet. As he waited for someone to get their food, something happened outside. Some sort of commotion. Gren looked from his seat but didn't leave. He already saw a lot of people and his mother told him not to crowd around scenes. It was a magnet for danger, though Gren didn't know what a magnet was. So he stayed put and waited for the Servine to come around, though Gren was still curious. Only Breeze and Veronica was here, and he didn't really know what to talk about. But then he remembered Breeze saying that she used to be in a team. Gren knew that Exploration Teams went into places like the Trunk all the time. Surely Breeze could help him? Maybe even... Understand his plight. Gren had to get out of his seat (He was too far away from Breeze to speak quietly) and went up to her. "Um... You said you were on a team before, right? I know this might be sudden but... I'd really appreciate it if you could come with me into the lower trunks. I need to find someone down there." Gren knew it seemed rather odd and even impolite for him to simply make a request from a total stranger, but Gren felt like he had little choice. He needed the help of an outsider who didn't think he was just a child. "No one in town will help. They think I'm too young. Maybe I am, but... I'm looking for my parents. My real parents. I was told that someone lives in the lower trunks who might know them, but I need help getting there. If you're going to explore it, maybe I can come with you?" Gren said rather quietly, though anyone who was still at the table could hear him if they paid attention. [@Shiny Keldeo]
