[/quote]This is a fantasy NRP thus dates aren't exactly followed but the cutoff date for ordinary tech levels (so discounting funky steampunk stuff) is 1865, the end of the American Civil War.
This is a curious date because this is also around the time many nations who missed out from the industrial revolution began to modernize and fast.

[@Voltus_Ventus]Your island holdings in the far right side of the map don't make much sense. You are in the center of Yllendthyr's naval powerhouse. Granted, we were a declining empire for long so perhaps you just managed to conquer them before. But then expect sparks flying very soon between us as Yllendthyr tries to recover what it once lost.
