He was surprised to hear that this woman was blind, however that would explain the covering and the hand placed on the wall, along with other quirks he noticed. This lead him to wonder how she preformed in Squad Two with her disadvantage, unable to help admiring her willpower to continue and grow stronger. She definitely peaked his interest. Although he had been a Captain for quite some time, he had only met a handful of people who powered through such a disability. He didn't see it as anything to pity like most others would, he saw it as a sign of exponential strength on a whole different level to the majority of the Seireitei. Grasping her hand carefully, treating the body part with the same care you would for a very delicate, precious glass sculpture, he began to gently pull her towards him in order to guide her away from the wall and down the path to the Squad Two barracks.
