Faster, harder, she could kill this thing. She would kill this thing. It had hurt both Viral and Aito now, no way was she going to allow it to exist! Snarling she took a running leap at the beast again, howling to disrupt its attacks and taking another swipe that ultimately missed, watching as it liquidated itself to avoid being struck. Sizing up the creature as it reformed her eyes locked on the incoming limb, rather than trying to avoid it she threw up an arm of her own and slashed at the attack itself, slicing it as the limb split in two and missed her as a result. She was pure battle instinct now, her entire being focused solely on battle and revenge for her friends. No way was she going to be beaten by such a lazy attack! After all of that it was even trying to get after Aito again, who had somehow gotten free from his binds. She wouldn't let it, she'd tear it to shreds before it even got close.

Darting along and evading the spikes as best she could Yumi took a few blows here and there, gashes forming on her arms and sides as she was caught by the protrusions. It wasn't enough to stop her though, she didn't care about a few minor injuries. If she could just stop it now, cut it off and prevent it from getting to the doctor. Pushing her body harder to move faster she managed to catch up to and surpass the creature, promptly stopping outside the chain link fence blocking off the filtration system. Letting out a feral growl she dug her hands into the dirt and inhaled, letting out a loud howl to try and cause the creature to back off, having enough mind about her still to recognize that was doing something. She had to get it away, that was her number one priority. Whether or not it worked she lunged at it, managing to focus her Ki enough to propel herself in an attempt to grab hold and drive it back, even over the edge of the dam if need be. Her safety didn't matter, she had to protect Aito.
