Mad thinker means that Arrow cannot help but think. At night, in zen take-it-easy moments, even while asleep she will be woken up by "Hey [i]that's[/i] a great idea! I should write it down!" Likewise, it means a lot of questions, some of which are going to drive her nuts if there is no answer.
