Ok so you clicked on this interest check then obviously you are well informed in regards to all things Zelda, or at the very least, you know the main gist of the hero of time era aka Ocarina of time. This thread will essentially go down that way in terms of plot. hence, the reason why the title is called "History's Repeating Itself" because it is essentially the same thing happening all over again. However, to not COMPLETELY copy the same thing, there is a few twists. one of those "twists" is that the thread will be taking place in modern times, so modern clothes, technology, kids go to school not play in graveyards and pretend to be dampé the grave keeper, etc. However! I still really want to keep the whole magic element and items present, so the use of potions, swords, shields, and other items will be used. Another thing that will be different if the layout of the temple of time. The temple is now just ruins that is right outside of town and very few actually visit the ruins. The chamber where the master sword sleeps has been sealed away by heavy stone doors, but with large holes in the chamber's ceiling, it has been believed that the sword was stolen a long time ago but nobody is for certain since nobody but the hero of legend can actually get inside without climbing through the ceiling or swimming through the long underwater passages that lead to the room. Like in all Zelda games there will be a reincarnation of the hero and the goddess, and the seven sages. And, as always, they will have no memory of their past lives. These memories, however, are not lost and can be unlocked at certain points in the game. The characters can be reincarnates or no, that's up to you, and if you'd like to reserve a space please let me know as they will be first come first serve. This sage can also summon fairies in time of great need to assist and aid fallen comrades, and cannot be summoned at any other time. This sage is weak against fire monsters and fire magic and high temperatures in general. However, this sage is strong against water monsters and water magic. The power of fire is theirs to command, however, the use of fire magic uses up a lot of energy. Thus, this sage needs to eat and sleep much more than the average person. This sage is strong in general, but this is especially true for forest monsters and forest magic. However, their fiercest enemy are water monsters and water magic. The sage of water can breathe underwater, manipulate water, and pull out water from sources of life, such as plants, when no other source is present. This sage, though agile on both land and water, is weak against forest monsters and forest magic, yet is strong against fire monsters and fire magic. This sage can blend into the shadows, as well as manipulate them. This sage can see perfectly in the darkest of places and make the lightest places go dark under a black haze. This sage is equally as strong against all types of magic and monsters, that is, except for light. While they do not possess many offensive abilities, they are a sage none the less. This sage has the ability to speak with the those who are no longer alive, as well as, give or take the life force of any living creature. They are also able to change their appearance and create illusions to distract the enemy, so long that they don't know that it's an illusion. This sage, along with it's other unique abilities, is not particularly strong or weak against any type of monster; it depends on how strong and how clever the sage is. This sage has the ability to literally bend light, temporarily stun enemies with a flash of bright light, and heal any injury or illness (to a certain extent). This sage, like the sage of shadow, is equally strong against all types of monsters and magic, except for the darkness.
