You are talking about a guy who just spent two months in a mental hospital and has spent most of his life hiding his depression from his family, Mizu. His parents didn't even know he was even upset until he tried to cut his arm off.
Also, I was talking about the cuts. He's good at seeing that kind of stuff, despite his bad vision.
