Carmen has interacted with James a few times on good terms, and she has a slight crush on the guy. She has future plans of seeing him regularly, hoping that it all works out into something better.

As of now, Benny is her only friend in the school, and she's been talking to him regularly shortly after school began. Together they go up to a shooting range past the woods and near a hill, where they chill, shoot guns and talk. They share a whole lot of the same opinions, too, which is a little surprising but very welcome in Carmen's eyes.

Her first nasty encounter with this guy was when he picked on Milo, which she saw as a very low blow, even for someone at Delphina. She nearly fought him, but never came to that point, but was able to protect Milo that time. Every now and then they have a scuffle, but they haven't fought. Yet. She REALLY doesn't like him.
