Archer
Archer took up a station leaning against a door, thinking about how to best answer their Master's questions, "Well, I didn't steal this from somebody... I made sure to pay the shop I took everything from. It would have been more convenient if they were open this late but I had to take what I could get." As for the situational report... "I saw a man walking through the forest as I was leaving, but there's no way to tell if he was just someone going for a midnight stroll. If he shows up again, it might be worth treating him as an enemy."

Izisviel von Einzbern
"Do you understand the basic rules established for previous Grail Wars, Saber?" Izisviel asked, draining her cup and putting it aside for the moment, "They are to be kept away from public view and if this should require the death of an unfortunate bystander, then that is our obligation. If things get too out of hand, then the Mage's Association could decide to take extreme measures to prevent things from becoming common knowledge." Of course, the town was rather on the large side for something like that to be chosen... but with the threat of violent magical retribution being taken against an entire town, it was better to play things safe. Particularly with many in the Mage's Association still wanting to see the war put to a halt.
