It would be fairy but it would not be registered as Eric knows better then to take blood from a dark fairy he has a deal with. Piss that off and everything goes down the drain.
So it would be fairy but it would not give an ID hit

Edit: other supernaturals registered with the scientists would have blood hits though. 
But not Peter due to the circumstances of that deal.
